A quiz, a big screen and a sad bear

We helped EH Smith lose a pub quiz. The projection worked perfectly; the answers were their department.

EH Smith hosted a pub quiz for BAA’s partners and colleagues on 27 October. Our part was a familiar one: a large screen and bright projector, connected to the venue’s existing AV system.

We designed that system so the team could look after everyday events themselves, with hired equipment added when something bigger came along. The connection between the two was part of the original design, not an afterthought.

This setup has been honed over several events. The screen fits the scale of the space, and the projector has the brightness needed for a venue with plenty of daylight.

We delivered, set up and checked everything, gave the team a refresher, then left them to run the evening. Collection followed the next day.

We hear the quiz went well. EH Smith’s own result came with a consolation prize: a sad bear holding a spoon. We’ll stick to the AV.
