AV Heroes Power the Sound, Light, and Memories at Stratford’s Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever
On Saturday 2 August 2025, Stratford’s Recreation Ground was awash with a sea of red as over 200 Kates, and a few bearded ones, danced, twirled, and sang their hearts out for the Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever. Inspired by Kate Bush’s iconic music video, the event was pure joy from start to finish, and AV Heroes was right there in the middle of it all.
We were proud to provide the sound system, lighting, photography, and even drone footage to help capture the magic of the day. From the first note to the final spin, the music rang out crystal clear, the colours popped against the summer sky, and every unforgettable moment was recorded from the ground and the air.
But the real magic wasn’t just in the tech, it was in the people. We had the pleasure of meeting so many fantastic enablers from Stratford Town and Stratford District Council, whose support helped bring the event to life. And of course, none of it would have happened without the incredible energy and vision of organisers Julie Crawshaw and Louisa Smith, who managed to unite dancers from across the UK (and even as far as Poland, Holland, and Texas) for one joyful afternoon.
The atmosphere was electric, not just from our lights, but from the laughter, the music, and the camaraderie. From men Kates and child Kates to four legged “Hounds of Love,” everyone threw themselves into the fun, raising £1,500 for Refuge and Lifeways Charity in the process.
It was an absolute pleasure to help power, light, and document this unforgettable celebration. If the buzz from the crowd is anything to go by, the Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever will be back next year, and we can’t wait to be part of it again.
